The Embassy of the Republic of Uganda in the Federal Republic of Germany, Berlin informs the general public that the Embassy is not closing as is being portrayed by 'fake news' circulating on social media platforms.

We would like to clarify that the Embassy premises remain closed to the general public in accordance with the guidelines and measures taken by the Government of the Federal Republic of Germany to contain the Coronavirus pandemic in Berlin and Germany as a whole.

That notwithstanding, the Embassy has been and continues to provide essential services as well as responding to emergency cases.

The Embassy of Uganda remains committed to serve and shall duly inform the general public as soon as the lockdown measures are eased  and it is permitted to open  the office to the general public.
