H.E. Ambassador Marcel R. Tibaleka, on 24th August 2020, had an introduction meeting with Ms. Anna Reismann, the new Country Director of the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung Uganda and South Sudan office. In the meeting she informed the Ambassador that she still finds herself in Germany waiting for the opportunity to relocate to Uganda.

Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung is an internationally operating political foundation, closely associated with the Christian Democratic Union of Germany (CDU). In European and international cooperation efforts they work for people to be able to live self-determined lives in freedom and dignity. To foster peace and freedom, the foundation encourages a continuous dialogue at the national and international levels as well as the exchange between cultures and religions.

In the light of the above, Ms. Reisman said that she was looking forward to representing the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung in Uganda.

Ambassador Tibaleka welcomed her and assured her that should there be any special repatriation flight to Uganda, the Mission would revert to her.
