WORLD HEALTH SUMMIT PRESIDENT VISITS THE UGANDA EMBASSY IN BERLIN

Prof. Charles Ibingira, the 2020 International President of the World Health Summit, has paid a courtesy call on H.E. Marcel R. Tibaleka, Uganda's Ambassador to Germany. He was accompanied by Prof. Tonny Oyana, Principal, College of Computing and Information Sciences, Makerere University and Prof. Damalie Nakanjako, Dean of the School of Medicine, Makerere University.

Prof. Ibingira, who is also the Principal of the College of Health Sciences of Makerere University, took over as the 2020 International President of the World Health Summit during the just concluded 11th World Health Summit that took place in Berlin from 27th to 29th October 2019. He briefed the Ambassador and his staff on arrangements that are under way by Makerere University and the Ugandan Government to make sure that the World Health Summit Regional Meeting scheduled to take place in Kampala from the 27th to 28th April 2020 is a success.

Amb. Tibaleka, on his part, pledged the full support of the Embassy especially in facilitating the participants from Germany with the required consular and protocol services.
