AMB. MARCEL TIBALEKA PRESENTS LETTERS OF CREDENCE TO H.E. MILOS ZEMAN, PRESIDENT OF THE CZECH REPUBLIC

On 20 June 2017, H.E. Marcel Robert Tibaleka presented Letters of Credence appointing him as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Uganda to the Czech Republic, to H.E. Milos Zeman, President of the Czech Republic, at the Prague Castle (Presidential Palace).

Upon arrival at the Prague Castle, Amb. Tibaleka was received by the Chief of Protocol and led through a ceremony during which the national anthem of Uganda was played and the Ambassador inspected the Presidential Standard and Guard of honour. He was then led indoors into the Throne room where he was welcomed by the Director of Protocol of the Office of the President who led him through the process.

After the presentation, Ambassador Tibaleka had a bilateral meeting with H.E. President Milos Zeman during which he conveyed warm greetings and good wishes from H.E. President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni. The Ambassador expressed the hope and keen desire that the close and cordial relations that exist between the Czech Republic
